In light of the current coronavirus outbreak, Sherrill & Hutchins has implemented a work from home policy for the time being. Operations are continuing in full and all staff are working remotely. If you contact the office (770.395.9797), you will likely need to leave a voice message, but all staff are checking voice messages and emails on a regular basis and will respond as soon as they are able.
The COVID-19 situation is evolving daily and we will continue to monitor and adjust accordingly. In the meantime, please rest assured that we will continue to monitor portfolios and be responsive to client needs. Thank you for your patience.

Mary-Clayton Murphy

Client Services Representative

Mary-Clayton serves Sherrill & Hutchins as the new Client Services Representative. Her primary role is to care for the clients. Whether opening new accounts, transferring positions, or preparing paperwork, Mary-Clayton is here to help.

Originally from Cartersville, Georgia, Mary-Clayton has a love for Atlanta. However, her passion for performing took her to the University of Oklahoma where she earned her BFA in Musical Theatre as well as a minor in Nonprofit Studies. After graduating in 2016, Mary-Clayton and her husband, Will, moved to Augusta where Will earned his Masters of Physician Assistant degree. There, Mary-Clayton served in high school youth ministry at First Presbyterian Church of Augusta. That experience confirmed two things for her: a passion for working with and for people, but also a desire for a more structured work life. This led her to Sherrill & Hutchins! Working in Client Services has already provided the best of both worlds.

Mary-Clayton and Will are recent residents of the lower westside of Atlanta, where they like to explore and play with their Pyrenees/Bernese dog, Okie! They also enjoy spending time outdoors hiking and backpacking. Mary-Clayton excels in many areas, but perhaps chief among them are baking cookies, eating Thai food, and napping.

Singing in the Rain! Gene Kelly’s performance in this movie is to blame for her love of musicals.

Mary-Clayton and Will are serious participants of Chick-fil-A’s Cow Appreciation day. They haven’t missed the annual tradition since 2013 and have a record of visiting seven different restaurant locations in one day for that glorious free meal.
